- →One account per person — you may not create accounts on behalf of others
- →You may not share your account credentials with others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, without notice where the breach is serious.
3. Platform content
Iura simulations are educational tools designed to simulate legal work experiences. They are developed in partnership with Indian law firms and reviewed by practising lawyers.
Important: Not legal advice
Nothing on the Iura platform constitutes legal advice. Simulations are educational exercises. Model answers and feedback are designed to teach legal skills, not to provide advice on any real legal matter. Do not rely on any content on this platform for actual legal decisions.
We strive to keep simulation content accurate and up to date with Indian law. However, the law changes frequently. We make no warranty that any content is current, complete, or accurate for any specific purpose.
4. User conduct
You agree not to:
- →Submit simulation responses that are copied from another person or generated wholesale by AI without genuine engagement
- →Attempt to access, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform's code or content
- →Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any other user or third party
- →Upload or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes a third party's intellectual property
- →Misrepresent your identity, institution, or qualifications on your profile
- →Interfere with the security or availability of the platform
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that breach this clause, and to report serious misconduct to the relevant authorities.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Iura platform — including simulation briefs, model answers, document templates, software, and design — is owned by Iura Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or its partner law firms, and is protected by Indian copyright law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use platform content for your personal educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any platform content.
Your simulation submissions remain your own. By submitting them, you grant Iura a non-exclusive licence to use them in anonymised, aggregated form to improve the platform and its feedback systems.
6. Firm partner content
Simulations are developed in partnership with law firms. The firm names, branding, and scenario contexts used in simulations are used with permission for educational purposes only. Completion of a simulation does not imply any relationship with, endorsement by, or right to employment at the partner firm.
7. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Iura disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular result will be achieved from using it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iura's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Iura in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000 if you have not made any payment).
In no event shall Iura be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity, even if Iura has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your licence to use the platform ceases immediately.
Clauses 5 (IP), 7 (Disclaimers), 8 (Liability), and 10 (Governing law) survive termination.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by contacting us at legal@iura.in and allowing 30 days for resolution.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by displaying a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
